What do you you folks take you backs and sides to when you start your build. Do you use the same for dreds and OM's?

I sometimes go even thinner.

I've been going about .075"-.080" with my little mahogany guitars, .070"-.075" for the sides.

I go about .090 on backs for OO/OM size and a little thinner say .080 for OO/parlour. Sides usually .080, very figured, maybe a little less. These are building thicknesses and will probably go down 5 thou or so with final scaping and sanding. I've never had a guitar collapse so I'm thinking that I may reduce these a little in the future as I think there is a natural tendency to build too heavy. I want it just on the edge!
